Here We Go Again

I wish the housing market would hurry up and recover, so we could sell this place and move to higher ground. Fat chance, I suppose...

I hope so too. I've been thinking of how things were going for you as I've watched my creek rising more and more. Last I heard the rivers are supposed to crest soon so hopefully you are safe for this go round.

If you did ever have to leave would you bring horses up to Frontier Park??

We sometimes get water in a barn aisleway but that's about it. Our horses stay dry. Still I know the day is probably coming that won't be the case anymore even though are barns are not in flood plains.

Buck: We survived another. The rivers are below flood stage again.

Rainbow: 2 years ago Orting was evacuated. Frontier Park was opened up, and we hauled the herd up there. While the town didn't get flooded, it was actually a good exercise, just to find out what's involved.

DS: Thanks! I'll get on it in a couple days. I'm to tired to think tonight, and I have meetings tomorrow and Thursday night.

I know that Frontier Park was used two years ago. I just didn't know that you were there. I was at the park trying to see if I could help out any of the horse owners there.
