Seems to me that the natural resources Should have a talk or give the ticket to the DNR (or whatever they are called out there) for not having their deer under better control. Or for not taking better care of their deer to start with. For these guys only done what was right. Besides how does he know that Santa wasn't going to need this deer to help pull his sleigh? Well, I guess we know who scrooge is this year & in this story. Now don't we? Giving him a chunck of coal would be too good in this situation. But I bet the deer would like it so it could warm up!
Dunno, Dave...down here in Louisiana if somebody saw a deer in freezing water, they'd probably just assume that God was doin' some pre-chilling on their behalf...throw a rope around it, and drag it out after it quit kicking.

Makes you wonder doesn't it? You're darned if you do and darned if you don't! Hopefully the judge will side with the good guys on this one.
