If someone had told me five years ago that I would own horses today, I would have kindly pointed out the fact that they were off their rocker.

Life is a strange thing.

I'll try to get some more pictures of the filly tomorrow.Dave (aka Buckskins Rule)https://www.blogger.com/profile/07764864394651709866noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7333690107350492364.post-23112143155035872622009-03-06T02:22:00.000-08:002009-03-06T02:22:00.000-08:00What Daphne said. The mare is very mellow, one of the sweetest horses I know. Which is a big plus, since she didn't mind letting people help her filly into the barn.

Buck: she was very stoked. She was kicking herself a little though, since her instincts had told her to put the mare in a stall earlier in the day. But, all's well that ends well.Dave (aka Buckskins Rule)https://www.blogger.com/profile/07764864394651709866noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7333690107350492364.post-65192984922162448342009-03-04T18:44:00.000-08:002009-03-04T18:44:00.000-08:00Boy... Please keep the photos coming.

If you get a chance you should check out Allen Pogues' foal training page at www.imagineahorse.com
That foal would look great on a beanbag and you still have a window of time to teach the foal to sit. It would make a world of difference in how the foal's training progresses. Good luck!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7333690107350492364.post-60406265179238584592009-03-04T03:53:00.000-08:002009-03-04T03:53:00.000-08:00Well, have to just say "Awww..." - a new baby - Be...Well, have to just say "Awww..." - a new baby - Beautiful!Lizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13925164639039478342noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7333690107350492364.post-58899815113409146852009-03-03T22:51:00.000-08:002009-03-03T22:51:00.000-08:00Sorry about that. I had an issue with a spammer and ended up blocking a particular blogger image url, which messed up half the blogs I read. *sigh* Thank goodness I have an extremely computer savvy daughter who fixed everything again.
Which is why I ended up deleting my comments, because they made me sound like an idiot!
So now I can see the beautiful baby!
And she is very, very beautiful. I love the white star she has. Mom looks very mellow.
And the baby shares a birthday with me, too! How cool is that?Christina RN LMThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03260505524676910667noreply@blogger.com
